Co-directing with Jon Yeo, we created this promo for the Fratellis song, Ol’ Black and Blue Eyes’.
There was no brief other than make an animated video- so we wrote our own story about Tina- taken from the song, and turned ‘her’ into a ‘he’ - a cross dressing, bank robbing, monster cowboy with the Fratellis as the dutiful Sherifs on his tail.
They all get into a scrape with the local indigenous people and learn to help one and other. Finally the sherifs take pity on Tina and let him go free.
